About the Client

DA’Burger is an independently owned and operated burger house in New Farm, Brisbane, which will be the chain’s flagship store. With a passion for food, the DA’Burger team established a business that focuses on local “farm to plate” freshness and provides opportunities for at-risk youth. This original and funky burger house has a playful-serious undertone and is built on a premium quality product delivered in a casual dining setting with accessible prices that appeals to all.

Client Objective

As a start-up company in a highly-competitive market, DA’Burger required their new website to serve the functional purpose of an online menu and contact portal, but have it presented in a truly modern design.  To target a youth audience, the website needed to be responsive to mobile and tablet devices with appropriate colours and incorporate existing branding elements.

iFactory Solution

This youth target audience was the key driver in the design of the DA’Burger website. iFactory utilised bright, textured colours with custom illustrations to engage the user and compliment DA’Burger’s branding and logo design.  Considering the user behaviour of young people (of accessing sites via their smartphones and scrolling vertically), the website was designed as a single page website complete with “sticky” menu and in-page loading, made unique with cutting-edge parallax scrolling where backgrounds are layered, moving independently as you scroll.
