About the Client
Hyundai Construction Equipment Australia (HCEA) builds state-of-the-art earth moving equipment to provide maximum performance, precision operation, versatility and economy, all backed by a leading parts and service support network. With dealerships in every major city within Australia and PNG, HCEA supplies Crawler Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Mini Excavators, Skid Steers, Wheeled Excavators, and Parts and After Sales Support. HCEA has become one of Australia’s largest and most reputable construction equipment brands.
Client Objective
In response to their expanding distribution service across Australia and PNG, HCEA required the creation of a real-time distributors portal for accessing product lists, managing orders and tracking warranty information. The key objective was to integrate this new portal with Conquip to deliver replication of forms and maintain brand identity. An archive system was also requested to ensure distributors and HCEA employees could access past sales lists and orders.
iFactory Solution
To achieve HCEA’s digital objectives, iFactory designed a custom solution to integrate with their existing web presence in the form of the “Hyundai Dealer Application”. This bespoke application integrated with Conquip to maintain brand identity and provide access to their legacy sales database, while creating a live product database and streamlining the sales process. Specifically, the application had two primary functions: product search and sales, which incorporated an ecommerce function for distributors to place, review and pay for orders online; and a warranty system, which allows distributors to register a new product warranty, make a claim, check claim status and view claim history.
