BLC International are one of the premier fundraising enterprises operating in Australia. They operate Billy G’s Gourmet Cookie Dough, a quick and easy way for schools and clubs to raise funds by offering 10 delicious flavours of cookie dough exclusively through fundraising. They also offer fun runs and raffles.
After building My Profile Page, an online application to manage fundraising activity, BLC approached iFactory to extend the functionality for the Cookie Dough site. They required the site feature an updated design and also include new functionality such as a custom-made payments solution and the ability to handle large traffic volumes during peak season.
iFactory used an Express based Node.js application framework designed to handle a large number of online payments and give detailed reporting for back-end and offline accounting processes. Our site designers streamlined the user experience so that parents, teachers and school children could find the information they needed as quickly as possible and refactored the initial sign up process to be quicker.
