Queensland Regional Training Networks (QRTNs)

Case Study: QRTN Responsive Website

About the Client

The Queensland Regional Training Networks (QRTNs) bring together higher education and training providers and the public and private health sectors to coordinate, plan and facilitate quality clinical training opportunities across the state. With increasing student numbers, the QRTNs build upon relationships and forge new interactions across all health service areas to generate increased clinical training opportunities.

Client Objective

The QRTNs required a new and updated web presence to boost public awareness of their programs and initiatives, to improve their brand identity, to provide useful resources to placement providers and trainees, and to ultimately drive new training placement opportunities.

iFactory Solution

iFactory designed a responsive website to encourage click-through to the relevant programs and resource pages and to drive direct enquiry. The site was designed to be responsive, which automatically reformats to accommodate mobile and tablet devices. The website used Joomla as the Content Management System (CMS) and included the following features:

  • Brand design and development (including logo and colour palette)
  • Interactive events calendar
  • Google Language Translator Tool
  • Forum capability
