Meet Seane – Web Developer Extraordinaire (& iFactory’s Best Hair)
Welcome to the team, Seane Parsonson, the latest addition to iFactory’s growing team of Brisbane web developers.
Not only does Seane have the best hair at iFactory (hands down), but he’s got top notch talent in commercial web development too.
Seane’s worked across a range of custom software development projects – apps, online stores, websites, embedded assets and more. He’s got full-stack experience across LAMP, WordPress, Magento, Woocommerce & more, but back end web development is where he shines.
Seane’s looking forward to putting his Bachelor of IT (with distinction) from RMIT to good use in his role at iFactory. More below!
How’d you come to work with iFactory?
I’d been working in a small software team as part of an engineering firm for 12 months, where I balanced software development and IT infrastructure support.
I wanted to focus more on software development specifically and started looking around for my next gig – this is how I stumbled on iFactory.
I met with the team and was excited at the prospect of working with cutting edge technology and some large, commercial software development projects. And I’ve already hit the ground running on the type of “up to the minute” stuff I was looking for.
Tell us about one interesting piece of software, app or web app you’ve built…
I once built a touch screen from the ground up – including designing the graphics and coding the back end.
I enjoyed seeing my vision for the project come to life and being involved in every part of the process.
Outside of software development, what are three things you’re into?
- I spend most weekends hitting the Coast as an amateur surfer
- It probably comes as no surprise, but I’m also really into the 80s. Music, film, you name it. I just find that most of the stuff I’m into comes from the decade.
- I actually spent some of my career pursuing ancient history – so I definitely like to revisit this from time to time.
If you’re in Brisbane, why not book a meeting at our studio on the border of Bowen Hills and Newstead. We’re here to make your ideas a reality.
